American heavy metal band Motley Crue decided not to hold «Crue Fest» - 2010. They are going to focus on recording a new album.
Crue bassist Nikki Sixx told about that in his interview to Billboard. After the end of the «Crue Fest» - 2009, which will be finished on September 5, Motley Crue stops concert activity and concentrates on recording a new album. Next festival is probably held in 2011.
You can imagine how difficult for musicians this decision was. During recent Motley Crue's visit to Moscow, they told optimistically about organization of «Crue Fest». Musicians were ready to give up a lot for this event. As for Nikki, he was happy as a child when told about Fest. Nobody could suggest such turn of events.
