Less than a month after divorce with Avril Lavigne, SUM 41 leader Deryck Whibley hit the town in Las Vegas Friday night.
He celebrated the 20th anniversary of The Mirage where he was accompanied by model/designer Hanna Beth Merjos.

Following dinner at Stack – which Whibley and Merjos entered hand-in-hand – the pair then headed to the Slash and Friends show, which featured a performance by the Guns N' Roses guitarist, as well as Tommy Lee and Daughtry.

The 'Girlfriend' singer - who announced she was separating from the Sum 41 rocker last week – spent a month partying on oil heir Brandon Davis' yacht in St. Tropez, South of France, and sources say the pair have grown very close.

One is quoted by gossip blogger Perez Hilton as saying: “She was downing shots, drinking booze from the bottle and play-fighting men on the beach.

"She wasn't acting like a married woman at all."

Avril Lavigne confirmed in a statement that she and fellow Canadian rocker, Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley, have separated.

"I am grateful for our time together, and I am grateful and blessed for our remaining friendship. I admire Deryck and have a great amount of respect for him. He is the most amazing person I know and I love him with all my heart," she said on her website.

Lavigne, 24, is reported to have asked Whibley, whom she married in 2006, to move out of their Los Angeles mansion.
